In August 2023, RevoU organized a short class on software engineering that focused on website development. During the class, participants were introduced to the basic principles of software engineering, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as the main technologies for building web interfaces.
As a final assessment, participants were asked to create a mini project by taking a design mockup and turning it into a functional and interactive website. This process is known as slicing, where participants must implement the mockup design into HTML code for structure, CSS for appearance, and JavaScript to provide interaction.
In this mini project, participants are expected to combine the knowledge of front-end technology and software engineering principles that they have learned during the short class. Participants are expected to create a website that is responsive, attractive, and easy to use by users.
